Adult literacy is adolescent's and adult's ability to use reading and writing to function in society, to achieve one's goals, and to develop one's knowledge and potential.
Academic literacies is the oral, written, auditory, and visual language proficiency required to learn effectively in academic contents and school.
Digital literacy is the processes for reading and using digital technology, communication tools or networks to locate, apply, evaluate, use and create information in multiple formats from a wide range of sources when it is presented via computers and digital environments.

Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, communication, reading, or writing as a guide to belief and action.
Study skills are an array of strategies, which address the process of organizing and understanding new information, concentration techniques, time management, and/or retaining information.
Test taking skills are skills and strategies, unrelated to the traits a test is intended to measure, that may increase test takers' scores -- may include the effects of coaching or experience in taking tests.
Personal Learning Passions™ (PLPS)- Based on brain research, humans improve their learning when it is personal , relevant, self-prioritized, intensely exciting (passionate) , and meaningful for them regardless of their age, culture, family context, socioeconomic background, or geographical position.
Cognitive neuropsychology -A science concerned with the integration of psychological observations on behavior, learning, and the mind with neurological observations on the brain and nervous system.
Physical and Nutritional health -A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
